About Dr. Verena Brown, MD

Dr. Verena Brown is a trauma-informed Health and Wellness Coach, Sexuality Educator, a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, and the founder of Sentient Anatomy, a coaching service focusing on the pillars of wellness, including physical, emotional, social, vocational, and spiritual. She's also the host of the Sentient Anatomy podcast.
In her clinical work, Dr. Brown is a pediatrician who specializes in cases of child sexual and physical abuse. Dr. Brown has been published in journals such as Pediatric Emergency Medicine and The Journal of Child Sexual Abuse. In July 2022, she was elected to the American Academy of Pediatrics Executive Committee of the Council on Child Abuse and Neglect. She is also currently serving as Dr. Universe 2023.
